Italian Buffalo with Basil, Blackberry, Turmeric, Flaxseed & Apple
Italian Mediterranean Buffalo are a breed of water buffalo most commonly raised outdoors in Southern Italy. In comparison to traditional beef, buffalo is considered to be a lean red meat which naturally has a lower fat content and is high in protein.
Our recipe is then blended into our 5 active superfoods - Basil, Blackberry, Turmeric, Flaxseed & Apple, cooked at a gentle 83 degrees and air sealed. This recipe is also formulated using sweet potatoes making the recipe grain free.
Superfoods Benefits:
- Blackberry - The fatty acid Omega-3 helps keep your dog's coat shiny and can help reduce inflammation. Also rich in vitamin C known for its antioxidant properties which helps support the immune system.
- Turmeric - in addition to treating joint issues, turmeric can also be used for dogs suffering from digestive issues, as it stimulates the production of bile in the liver that help break food down quicker, enabling your dog to feel more comfortable after eating.
- Flaxseed - Anti-inflammatory properties of flaxseed can help ease symptoms of arthritis, lower blood pressure, improve kidney function, and maintain healthy skin and coat in dogs.
- Apple - providing vitamin A, vitamin C and dietary fibre
- Basil - Rich in beta-carotene, which play an important role in maintaining healthy vision. It's also an anti-inflammatory and contains a high level of antioxidants that help promote healthy living
