Pork & Free Range Turkey with Parsley, Papaya, Nettle, Zucchini & Pumpkin
The Free-range turkeys are kept at lower densities in the barn with free range access and fresh air. They grow more slowly, meaning they have more flavour, more muscle fat, and a better, firmer meat texture. The turkeys are a lean protein source rich in essential amino acids, low in fat and a good source of essential nutrients such as riboflavin, potassium and selenium.
It is then blended into our 5 active superfoods - Parsley, Papaya, Nettle, Zucchini & Pumpkin. This recipe is also formulated using sweet potatoes making the recipe grain free. Puppy Recipes are made smaller in size making them easy to eat.
Superfoods Benefits:
- Parsley - Provides Vitamin A, important in developing and maintaining good vision. Parsley is one of the best natural sources of Vitamin K, this helps to maintain a healthy blood clotting system and promotes liver health
- Papaya - Calcium, magnesium, potassium minerals that have a positive effect on dog's growth.
- Nettle - Rich in calcium to help support the development of healthy bones and teeth.
- Zucchini - Rich in vitamins A, C, B6, and K, which is beneficial for your dog's vision, skin, coat, bone and cartilage growth and metabolism
- Pumpkin - Provides a source of folate, important in supporting cellular growth
Turkey - A lean protein that is low in fat and high in essential amino acids, making it an excellent choice for dogs who are looking to maintain a healthy weight. It's also hypoallergenic, making it a great option for dogs with food allergies
Pork - An excellent source of amino acids, perfect for dog nutrition. Pork dog food is also is rich in thiamine, an essential mineral used in cell-function. Thiamine, also known as Vitamin B1 is an essential vitamin for dogs
