Healthy skin and a well-maintained coat play a vital role in a cat’s overall health, extending beyond simple appearance. The skin serves as a defensive barrier, protecting against infections, parasites, and physical harm, while the coat helps regulate body temperature and guards against environmental challenges. Skin-related conditions in cats—such as dryness, irritation, and excessive shedding—are frequently seen in veterinary care.
A smooth, glossy coat is often an indicator of proper nutrition, adequate hydration, and good internal health. Supporting skin and coat condition depends on providing a balanced diet rich in quality proteins and essential nutrients. Key components like fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals help maintain the skin’s protective barrier, minimise inflammation, and encourage a strong, healthy, and lustrous coat.
Salmon Oil (Omega - 3: EPA & DHA): Helps reduce skin inflammation and irritation, supports a healthy skin barrier, and promotes a soft, shiny coat.
Soya Oil (Omega - 6: Linoleic Acid): Provides an essential fatty acid for cats, supports skin moisture and the epidermal barrier, helping maintain a smooth, glossy coat.
Dried Algae (Omega - 3: D H A + micronutrients): Provides essential DHA and antioxidants to support skin barrier integrity, reduce irritation, and enhance coat condition and softness.
Borage Oil (Omega-6: GLA): Supports skin hydration and elasticity by helping reduce moisture loss, promoting comfort and healthy skin function.
Hypoallergenic: Short-chain peptides have low antigenic potential, helping reduce the likelihood of adverse reactions to dietary proteins.
Grain-Free Formula: Suitable for cats with sensitivities or intolerances to grains.
Skin Growth & Repair: Hydrolysed salmon peptides assist in collagen regeneration, supporting skin maintenance and repair.
Hairball Management: Includes beet pulp and cellulose to help reduce the formation of hairballs.
Veterinary Endorsed: Developed by qualified pet nutritionists and approved by licensed veterinarians.
THE POWER OF PEPTIDES
An advanced process is used that gently cooks fresh meat and fish with a natural enzyme, breaking proteins down into small, highly digestible peptides. Peptide size is key to how efficiently protein is absorbed—when absorption is poor, nutritional value is reduced.
While intact proteins may seem ideal and fully broken-down amino acids easier to absorb, research shows the optimal balance lies in small-chain peptides—delivering the best digestibility and uptake.
Our process helps maximise the digestibility and bioavailability of freshly prepared fish.
SKIN & COAT SUPPORT
Highly digestible peptides provide essential amino acids needed to produce key structural proteins, including keratin, collagen, and elastin. These support skin strength, elasticity, and barrier function, contributing to healthy skin and a glossy coat. Collagen peptides also help improve skin structure, hydration, and resilience.
HYPOALLERGENIC PROTEIN SUPPORT
Hydrolysed proteins, broken down into small peptides, are gentle on digestion and less likely to trigger sensitivities—helping reduce skin irritation while supporting overall skin health and coat condition.
